Was reading through December issue this morning, stumbled upon this spread by Andrew Corsello, conglomerating the facts about GQ's chosen writer of the year: Ayn Rand. Was quite entertaining and ironic considering when one chooses a writer of the year, usually its praise that follows and not complete mockery or disdain for the author. Which was funny cause mockery and disdain was what followed. However, they do praise Rand's complete changing and molding of a generation, which quote unquote drove millions toward elitist capitalist ideologies that led to this great recession. The article did serve one underlying purpose by inspiring me to read her works
Atlas Shrugged and
The Fountainhead, which are studied by universities all over the world. You might want to read the article, kind of long though, not suited for the ADD ones.
